Tips for Visiting the Steveston Christmas Craft Fair
- Bring cash. There are no ATMs on site, and vendors may not have debit, credit or e-transfer options.
- Dress warmly and comfortably. You will be moving between the venue and outdoors, and late November in Richmond is cool and often wet.
- No animals. Pets are not allowed, except service animals.
- Plan for parking. Parking is limited on the day, so leave extra time, carpool or choose another way to get there.
- Arrive early. The fair is popular, and the best handmade items can sell out.
- Bring a sturdy bag. It makes carrying breakable items and food gifts much easier.
Getting to the Steveston Community Centre and Parking
The Net Shed is at 4111 Moncton Street, in the middle of historic Steveston Village. Parking will be limited on the day of the fair, so plan ahead. Carpooling, being dropped off or checking TransLink for transit options can save you time circling for a spot.
The fair sits within a short distance of the waterfront, so you can park farther away in the village and walk in if you do not mind a few extra minutes outdoors.
Event details can change. Always confirm the date, times and any updates on the official Steveston Community Society page before you go.
